Megan and Jordan's perfect summer wedding - Soughton Hall, North Wales - Shropshire wedding photographer

For a long time I have wanted to shoot at the gorgeous Soughton Hall, Northrop, North Wales, and Megan and Jordan’s big day gave me that opportunity. I planned for this day, met the couple before and had a grewat pre-shoot with them and a good discussion about the detail of their day and how I would fit into it, but what I hadn’t planned for was just how hot it was going to be that day! Quite simply is was baking - glorious blue skies, fabulous summer light, and a fabulous setting made it certain that the wedding was just a truly glorious, glorious day.

Many of the guests used umbrellas during the outside ceremony - but not to protect from the rain, but rather to save them from sunburn! It certainly was a two-shirt day, as I call them - one of those days that I need to change my shirt during the wedding breakfast as…well, you can guess!

That aside, it really was an amazing day, as I am sure you will be able to tell from these pictures…
