Kirsty and Jordan's sunshine day at Albrighton Hall, Shrewsbury

The very best way to get a booking as a Shropshire Wedding Photographer is by personal recommendation, and I was lucky enough to get the booking to cover Kirsty and Jordan's short but ever so sweet wedding, from a recommendation by Ceri, a previous bride. Ceri and Kirsty work together and it was a great honour to be recommended and chosen to cover the second wedding to a member of the local Primary shop staff! (I'm actually hoping that if I get another one from staff there, I'll be entitled to a discount...)

Kirsty and Jordan wanted to book me for just the essentials of their day - getting ready through to the end of the reception drinks - and given the weather forecast of one of the hottest days of the year I was happy to oblige. Whilst it would have been lovely to cover more of their special day, getting home early and toasting the happy couple with a beer in the evening was a little bonus for me.

But just because I wasn't there for as long as I normally am; it didn't mean I cut back on the quality or the quantity of images I took - from Bridal prep in a very hot hotel room through the a perfect ceremony in the grounds, outside, at the Albrighton Hall Hotel Shrewsbury, it was just the best 5 hours I could spend that day. A beautiful bride, proud groom, wonderful, friendly family, a great location with brill staff who couldn't do enough to help both the couple and myself, it was a fine few hours which resulted in some of my favourite images so far this year...This Shrewsbury Wedding Photographer is happy to present Kirsty and Jordan's sunny day by the lake...
